Could former Pittsburgh Steelers’ Coach Bill Cowher be patrolling the Giants’ sidelines next season? Steve Serby of the New York Post seems to think so. Cowher stepped away from the Steelers this week after 15 seasons as head coach, along the way compiling a .619 winning percentage and a victory in Superbowl XL. While the move was reportedly prompted by Cowher’s desire to spend more time with his family, Serby urges Big Blue to throw big green Cowher’s way in the hope of changing his mind. Of course, this presumes that the release of current Giants’ head coach Tom Coughlin is a foregone conclusion. The article is speculatory in nature, but fun to contemplate nonetheless.
