Attention Jets fans: Gang Green is matched up against Dallas at 4:30 on Thanksgiving Day, so plan your Turkey Day accordingly!

Via Newsday’s Tom Rock:

The Jets will dine on some Texas turkey this year, traveling to Dallas to play the Cowboys in their traditional Thanksgiving Day game. It will be broadcast on CBS at 4:30 p.m. and will mark the Jets’ first Thanksgiving game since a 31-20 loss to the Lions in 1985 at the Silverdome.

The franchise has played five Thanksgiving games, three as the Titans (all wins) and two as the Jets (both losses). The Packers will face the Lions in the early game and the Colts will play the Falcons on Thanksgiving night.

This will be the first time the Jets face the Cowboys on the holiday and the second time newly acquired running back Thomas Jones faces his brother, Cowboys running back Julius Jones, on Thanksgiving. Thomas Jones and the Bears lost, 21-7, at Dallas on Thanksgiving in 2004.
