Jets-Pats, Ready for Sunday

The New York Jets are counting the hours until Sunday’s kickoff against division rival New England. This week’s practices have been spent fine-tuning the game plan and trying to keep everyone healthy.

Although currently #2 on the depth chart, Darrelle Revis might very well start on Sunday due to the uncertainty of Andre Dyson’s foot injury. Revis was very impressive in his two pre-season games, but neither was against a future hall of fame QB. Look for him to be tested early.

Thomas Jones is reportedly at about 70% but also plans to start. The question will be how effective he can be. With his health in question it is even more important that the passing game not be grounded. Fantasy hint ~ don’t play Jones this week. The slightest hint of a setback or an early lopsided score either way and Leon Washington will be in for the rest of the game. The Jets aren’t willing to risk losing Jones long term for one win.
