The Jets have officially placed linebacker Jonathan Vilma on the injured reserve list and moved Matt Chatham from the PUP (physically unable to perform) list to the active roster.
There has been no announcement as to whether or not Chatham will be activated for Sunday’s game against the Bills, but his removal from the PUP list makes him immediately eligible.
The Jets will go with just 52 active players on Sunday, one less than the league-allowed 53.
