Hold your breath Mets fans. Despite all the rumors that the Mets and Orioles are getting cozy, WFAN is reporting that the Orioles and Dodgers are discussing a deal that would send Erik Bedard to Los Angeles for Matt Kemp and Jonathan Broxton.
If this deal does go down, it’s a good deal for both teams. Kemp will fill an outfield hole, and Broxton would assume the closer’s role vacated when Chris Ray underwent Tommy John Surgery.
