The New York Post is reporting the Mets are not one of the four finalists for the services of Japanese pitcher Hiroki Kuroda. Early rumors reported the Mets have made strides with Kuroda, but reports now are the Mariners, Dodgers, Royals, and Diamondbacks are the remaining teams in the running for Kuroda, who is seeking a four-year contract.
