Johan Santana will be introduced to the media today at Shea Stadium. The press conference is scheduled for 1 p.m. and will air live on SNY and MLB.com.

Every so called expert is saying how deep Bostons pitching is. They say the “best in Baseball” Well with Schilling hurt, who would you rather have as your top 3? Beckett, Matsuzaka, and Wakefield or Santana, Pedro and Maine. Im not saying this because Im a Mets Fan, but Id rather have the Mets rotation especially when you add Oliver Perez as a fourth and El Duque as a fifth. They stacked their bullpen and with Billy the Kid, they may not be the best rotation in Baseball, but they are in the top 3 or 4… Howie Pinelli ex New Yorker now residing in Columbus Ohio
