Arod Leaves Game With Quad Strain
Alex Rodriguez left today’s game against the Baltimore Orioles in the top of the sixth inning with a strained right quadriceps.
Rodriguez injured the quad much the same way Derek Jeter did earlier in the year. He was trying to beat out a double-play and came up lame. There is no word on how series the injury is or how much time he is expected to miss. Jeter’s injury was to his left quad and he managed to stay off the disabled list and only missed six games.
Rodriguez was 1-for-3 with an RBI double before Morgan Ensberg came in to pinch run for him.
