Unless I’m mistaken, I think you’ll find that Messier actually played for three WHA teams…
Technically only two.
11. How many championships did Dr. J win that mattered? One, with the Sixers.
Hmm…The Oilers came over from the WHA though…Did Messier not join the team until after the move? I’m pretty sure Gretzky was on that WHA Oilers team.
