Shockey to Saints, Everybody Wins!

Giants Rumors & News

Ever have to go to work and deal with someone you can’t stand? Someone, maybe your boss, who just makes your life miserable day in and day out for months on end. They talk down to you in a condescending “you’re stupid” kind of way. Do you remember how good it felt when you showed up and he/she/it had been fired? This has happened to me numerous times and let me tell you, it’s very liberating. Work suddenly becomes fun again. Your office/bar/wherever transforms into a happy place with a bunch of happy workers fraternizing and getting the job done with smiles on their faces. This is what the Giants camp is going to be like next week. Both Eli Manning and Tom Coughlin have got to love the fact that Jeremy Shockey (Goldilocks from now on) will no longer be part of their routine. A-Rod Needs More Publicity, Joins William Morris Agency

Yankees Rumors & News

In the past month, Yankees 3rd basemen Alex Rodriguez has had an up and down experience. On the field, A-Rod has enjoyed success, hitting .290, with 7 HR’s, 18 RBI, and even 6 SB’s. However, off the field, A-Rod has been at the apex of a love triangle between him, his ex-wife Cynthia, and pop sensation Madonna. Struggling with divorce proceedings, and being labeled by the media as a cheater and a neglectful parent and husband, A-Rod has signed on with the William Morris agency.

The William Morris agency is a talent and public relations company that deals with singers, actors, directors, and much more. Celebrities such as Mel Gibson, Kanye West, and Britney Spears have confided in the WIlliam Morris family to help them in their time of need. A-Rod is the first baseball player to make this sort of giant leap  and it doesn’t come as a surprise to me.

A-Rod’s manager, Guy Oseary, has been working with the agency for a while and has been a …

Mets Rumors & News

“I obviously made some bad choices and it didn’t work out.” – Jerry Manuel
The manager took the blame for what should have been an easy Mets victory. In round one of the battle for first place, the Mets bullpen melted down in the ninth inning, coughing up six runs, leading to an 8-6 Phillies win. The loss drops the Mets into a second-place tie with Florida. Duaner Sanchez, Joe Smith, Pedro Feliciano and Aaron Heilman (with help from a Jose Reyes fielding miscue) combined to hand the game to Philadelphia on a silver platter.
After giving up three straight two-out singles and a run in the first, Johan Santana breezed through his last seven innings. His final line was eight innings pitched, two runs, eight hits, four K’s and zero walks (and one home run to Shane “The Great Gazoo” Victorino). He threw 105 …
