Harris is an old school, take on the “guard/stuff the fullback and stop the run” type of linebacker. I doubt they will get much pass rush from Harris. The key is Pace (was last year just a contract year type performance?), Bryan Thomas (was two years ago a fluke?) and the run defense being good enough to get the other team into obvious passing situations. Should be intertesting…

That can be true about Gholston but the emergence of David Harris along with Calvin Pace can only help.

I didn’t mention richardson because I think the running game is fine. The backfield is the strongest part of the team in my opinion. Jones, Washington, Richardson, even chatman is good as far as #3 running backs go. I was focusing on the needs outside of QB. Gholston is talented but the knock on him coming out was he didn’t play hard every snap. He’s far from a sure thing.

Faneca was a huge pick up for many reasons… Revis and Rhodes are nasty.

No mention about Tony Richardson who has blocked for several 1,000 yard backs?

Faneca is still a top 5 guard despite his age and what about Leon Washington and the return game as a positive?

Wouldnt you agree by improving the front 7 it puts a little pressure on the secondary? But it still needs improvement
