Here are the answers to yesterday’s quiz.

1. Brett Favre was born in Gulfport, MS, but grew up in Kiln, MS.

2. He went to college at Southern Mississippi.

3. Favre was taken in the second round, with the 33rd overall pick, by the Atlanta Falcons.

4. Jerry Glanville was the Falcons coach who didn’t want to draft Favre and said he would never play him.

5. Favre’s first-ever pass for the Falcons was intercepted and returned for a touchdown.

6. He led the league in touchdowns four times: 1995, 1996, 1997 and 2003.

7. He played in four NFC Championship games: 1995 (lost to Dallas), 1996 (beat Carolina), 1997 (beat San Francisco) and 2007 (lost to the Giants).

8. Favre won the MVP in 1995, 1996 and 1997.

9. He’s thrown five Super Bowl touchdowns: two in Super Bowl XXXI against New England and three in Super Bowl XXXII against Denver.
