Cedric Benson (Bengals)- Benson started over Chris Perry against the Steelers and finished with 52 yards on 14 carries. His 15-yard run was the longest the Steelers have given up all season. As long as he is starting Benson makes a decent flex start this week against the Texans.

Leon Washington (Jets) – Rushed for his first TD of the season against the Raiders yesterday. He recorded 19 rushing yards and caught three passes for 21 yards. He has a favorable matchup against a Chiefs defense that allowed 332 rushing yards to the Titans last week.

Patrick Cobbs (Dolphins) – In Week 6 Cobbs caught three passes for 128 yards and two TDs. Last week he led all Dolphin running backs with 67 total yards. He caught five balls out of the backfield for 64 yards

Wide Receivers

Josh Morgan (49ers) – The rookie receiver started at split end and was targeted nine times against the Giants. He finished the game with five catches for 86 yards and a TD. He set career highs in receptions, yards and longest reception. He faces the Seahawks this week which allow 242 passing yards per game.

Javon Walker (Raiders)- Had his best game of the season against the Jets catching five balls for 75 yards a TD. The 6’3” receiver was targeted nine times could build on his success against the Ravens this week. The Ravens are first in the NFL in fewest rushing yards allowed so look for Coach Tom Cable to open up the pass game.

Malcolm Floyd (Chargers)- The past two weeks Floyd has logged 140 yards and two touchdowns. He has been starting for the injured Chris Chambers and taking advantage of the opportunity. . The Saints fly to London this week to play the Saints and makes a strong bye week start against the 30th ranked pass defense.

Tight End

Robert Royal (Bills)- Royal was targeted seven times and finished the game with four catches for 53 yards. It marked the third time this season Royal has caught at least four passes in a game.


John Kasay (Panthers)- Kasay converted his three field goal attempts including a 48-yarder against the Saints. He has scored 25 points the past three weeks while making all six of his field goals. He has favorable games coming up against the Cardinals, Raiders, Lions and Falcons.


Bills- The Bills did a formidable job limiting the Chargers offense to only 14 points.  Ladainian Tomlinson rushed for 41 yards and the Bills defense forced a fumble and intercepted a Phillip Rivers pass. They have allowed 119 points which is ninth in the NFL. The 5-1 Bills face the Dolphins who are last place in the AFC East this Sunday.
