Jets Rumors & News

U-G-L-Y- You ain’t got no Alibi!  You Ugly! You Ugly!  Yo Mama Say You Ugly! You Ugly!  You Ugly!

Sometimes a picture just says it all.  Like this one.  It says, “I…. can’t…. breathe….Put… me… down….”  Fitting that this is what Favre gets after throwing a game winning touchdown.  Somehow the Jets emerged victorious Sunday but it was very ugly. “How ugly was it,” you ask?

That win was sooo ugly its shadow quit.

That win was sooo ugly it made Frankenstein’s dog go “Dang.”

That win was sooo ugly, Rice Crispies won’t even talk to it.

That win was sooo ugly it reminded me of Taco Bell-  When people saw it they ran for the border.

That win was sooo ugly it got 7 years of bad luck just for trying to look in the mirror.

That win was soooo ugly, it looked like she was bobbing for french fries.  So, that one didn’t make much sense but if you put the ‘Yo mama” part back in I think it creates quite …

Week 9 Pickups

Last year he started three games in December and completed 68% of his passes and threw for 5 TDS with only one interception.
Antonio Pittman (Rams) – Started in place of Stephen Jackson and carried the ball 19 …

Drury Scores (and Rangers Win)

Rangers Rumors & News

Chris Drury scored his first goal of the season a minute into last night’s game. Yes, that’s right, Chris Drury scored a goal. The game was stopped and a special ceremony took place at center ice to commemorate the moment. Drury’s parents flew in and returned his Little League World Series trophy they confiscated and vowed not to give back until he scored. When the game resumed, Drury rifled in his second goal in the third period. And his parents returned his Hobey Baker Award to him.
The Captain led the Rangers over the Islanders, 4-2. They’re now 9-2-1, with 19 points. That ties the mark for the best start in franchise history (with the 1978-79 and 1989-90 teams). They have the most points in the NHL (though they’ve played the most games). And Tom Renney moved up to fourth place on the Rangers all-time coaching wins list. He has a 142-100-36 record …
