Tyler Thigpen (Chiefs) – It was the second consecutive week Thigpen threw for at least 1 TD and did not turn the ball over. Against the Bucs last week he also caught a 37-yard pass and ran six times for 22 yards.

Sage Rosenfels (Texans) – Starter Matt Schaub suffered an injury before the first half against the Vikings last week and did not return. Rosenfels filled in nicely completing 21-of-29 passes for 224 yards and two TDs. Schaub could miss this week’s game against the Ravens with a knee sprain.

Honorable mention: Brady Quinn (Browns)


Ray Rice (Ravens) – Rice set career highs in carries (21) and yards (154) against the Browns in Week 9. The rookie showed his game breaking potential with a 60-yard run and is making a strong case to be the starter in a crowded backfield.

Jamaal Charles (Chiefs)- Charles rushed for a season high 106 yards against the Bucs last week. Kolby Smith was placed on IR and will miss the remainder of the season and Larry Johnson will not play again in  Week 10 due to disciplinary infractions. The former Longhorn will be the featured back against the Chargers this week and possibly beyond.

Honorable mention: Ryan Torain (Broncos)

Wide Receivers

Shaun McDonald (Lions) – McDonald has 11 catches for 123 yards and a TD the past two games. He caught a season high six balls last week and has emerged into a valuable asset in the offense with Roy Williams gone.

Mark Clayton (Ravens) – Clayton had his best game of the season catching four balls for 87 yards and a TD. He was targeted 11 times and makes a strong start against the Texans this week that allowed three TDs in the air to the Vikings in Week 9.

Koren Robinson (Seahawks) – Robinson scored a 90-yard TD last week which us the longest player in team history. He was targeted six times and now has eight catches in his past two games.

Honorable mention: Rashied Davis (Bears)

Tight End

Brent Celek (Eagles) – Celek started for the Eagles with starter L.J Smith out with a concussion. Celek caught six passes for 131 yards and had three receptions longer than 20 yards.

Honorable mention: Robert Royal (Bills)


Jay Feeley (Jets) – Feeley had his best game as Jet converting 4-of-5 field goals. He scored a season high 14 points last week and has a favorable matchup against the Rams at home this week.

Honorable mention: Neil Rackers (Cardinals)


Dolphins DST- The Dolphins defensive unit intercepted Broncos QB Jay Cutler three times last week. In Week 8 they forced four turnovers against the Bills and have a favorable matchup vs. the Seahawks this week. In Week 11 they have another strong matchup against the Oakland Raiders at home.
