Guards

Jose Juan Barea (Mavericks)- Barea scored a season high 21 points against the Hawks on Saturday. He has played at least 30 minutes in his past two games with G/F Josh Howard sidelined with an ankle injury. In three games last week Barea averaged 18 points and four assists.

Lou Williams (76ers)- Williams has scored 15,16 and 13 points off the bench in his past three games. He also has four three-pointers and four steals in that span. He has played at least 20 minutes in three of his past six games as a key reserve for Philly.

Luke Ridnour (Bucks)- Ridnour averaged 11 points and six assists last week. In his past seven games he has 10 steals with seven three-pointers made. He also has played at least 31 minutes in three of his past four games.

Honorable mention: DeShawn Stevenson (Wizards)

Forwards

Renaldo Balkman (Nuggets)- Balkman got his first start of the season on Saturday when F Keynon Martin sat out with a sprained wrist. The former Knick scored 17 points, grabbed six rebounds, had three steals and a blocked shot. He played 31 minutes and Head Coach George Karl must be pleased with his energy.  

Carl Landry (Rockets)- Landry has 17 rebounds and 18 points in his past two games. He has played at least 23 minutes in eight of his past nine games and is shooting 55% from the field and 86% from the foul line on the season.

Jared Jeffries (Knicks)- Jeffries returned to the Knicks lineup on Friday after missing the first 18 games due with a leg injury. In first game back against the Hawks he had 7 rebounds and a steal in 16 minutes. He played 22 minutes against the Pistons last Sunday and also could gain center eligibility.

Honorable Mention: Jarvis Hayes (Nets)

Centers

Chris Anderson (Nuggets)- Anderson is averaging 5 rebounds and 2.6 blocked shots over his past six games. He is third in the NBA with 2.3 blocked shots in just 16 minutes per game.

Dan Gadzuric (Bucks)- Gadzuric is averaging 8 rebounds and 1.8 blocked shots in past five games. He scored a season high 11 points and pulled down 14 rebounds against the Bulls last Wedensday with C Andrew Bogut out with a knee injury.

Kurt Thomas (Spurs)- Thomas pulled down seven rebounds and blocked a shot against the Warriors on Saturday. He starts at the centers for the Spurs and can be a good source for cheap rebounds.
