		<description>I would&#039;ve taken him at this price tag in the offseason in a heartbeat.  Now that he&#039;s a league-wide pariah, it&#039;s a lot of money and the Rangers could end up eating a lot of it if Avery and Torts don&#039;t mix well.  I also would&#039;ve committed the money to Avery BEFORE I knew we&#039;d have nearly 12 million per invested in Rozsival and Redden.  The only way I&#039;ll be happy this deadline is if Sather moves a contract.  Instead, if a guy like Mark Recchi is headed our way - blegh, at least baseball&#039;s around the corner.</description>

		<description>I think it&#039;s a fairly good bargain. If they had brought him back at the beginning of the season it would have cost them $4 million, now they get him at less than half that.

I think that if teams could have gotten him for $2 million per in October there would have been a lot more interested teams.</description>
