Guards

James Harden (Thunder)- Harden has averaged 19.7 points, 2.6 steals and has made 10 three pointers over his last three games. The rookie has received more playing time and looks to be on the rise despite yesterday’s bad shooting today (2-of-15).

Charlie Bell (Bucks)- Bell scored a season high 19 points last Saturday vs. the Grizzles. He has started every game since November 3rd and is a good source for threes and steals with Michael Redd still sidelined due to injury.

Jarrett Jack (Raptors)- Jack scored a season high 17 points vs. the Heat last Friday. He played 32 minutes yesterday and recorded 8 points with 11 assists. With Marco Belinelli missing time with a groin injury it means extended minutes for Jack.

Honorable mention: Jason Williams (Magic)

Fowards

Rodney Carney (76ers)- Carney has scored at least 10 points in two of his past three games. He also has 15 rebounds and five three-pointers in this span.

Kenny Thomas (Kings)- Thomas does not play big minutes but has at least seven rebounds in three of his past four games. He also is averaging one blocked shot in this span.

Kurt Thomas (Bucks)- Thomas had his best game of the season yesterday with 8 points, 10 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 blocks in 30 minutes. With Andrew Bogut out 2-4 weeks due to injury look for Thomas to play strong off the bench.

Honorable mention: Jason Maxiell (Pistons)

Centers

Drew Gooden (Mavs)- Gooden has started the past four games and 14.8 points, 13 rebounds and 1.3 blocked shots per game in 36 minutes. With starting C Erick Dampier sidelined look for Gooden to continue his strong play.

Theo Ratliff (Spurs)-Ratliff grabbed a season high 11 rebounds last Saturday vs. the Wizards. He has has blocked 6 shots over his past two games and with playing time can help in these two areas.

Jason Smith (76ers)- Smith has received more playing with Maurice Speights out 6-8 weeks with a knee injury. Smith has blocked at least 2 shots in two straight games.

Honorable mention: Narz Mohammed (Bobcats)
