Guards
Jrue Holiday (76ers)- Starting PG Lou Williams is out for the next 8 weeks with a fractured jaw. Holiday has started the past three games and is averaging 6 points, 4 assists and 1.3 steals in 25 minutes. Look for his FG% and points to increase as the rookie starts more games.
Willie Green (76ers)- Green started his first game of the season yesterday scoring 17 points with 3 assists, 2 steals and 3 blocks in 38 minutes. With Williams and Elton Brand out of the starting lineup look for Green to have these type of games.
Sergio Rodriguez (Kings)- Rodriguez scored a season high 24 points yesterday vs. the Hornets. He also had 5 assists, 2 steals and 2 three-pointers. He is shooting 51% from the field inn the season and has played real well over his past four games.
Honorable mention: Nick Young (Wizards)
Forwards
Dontae Greene (Kings)- Greene had his best game of the season last week against the Knicks where he had 24 points, 5 assists, 4 rebounds and 6 blocks and 6 threes. He has started the past three games and contributes in all categories but will be streaky.
Jonas Jerebko (Pistons)- Jerebko has been in the starting lineup since November 3rd. The rookie scored a career high 22 points vs. the Clippers last Friday. He also set another high with 11 rebounds yesterday against the Hawks. With Ben Gordon (ankle injury) out of the lineup and Charlie Vilanueva breaking his nose look for the rookie to step up.
Honorable mention: Mike Dunleavy (Pacers)
Centers
Tyson Chandler (Bobcats)- If Chandler was cut in you’re league it’s time to pick him up. He blocked a season high 6 six shots last Wednesday and is a good source for some rebounds and FG %.
Ronny Turiaf (Warriors)- Turiaf finally made his return last Saturday after missing 12 games due to knee injury. He is a great source for blocks and could return to the starting rotation soon.
Hasheem Thabeet (Grizzles)- Thabeet blocked a career 3 shots vs. the Blazers last Friday. His minutes have been streaky but the rookie has 20 rebounds and is shooting 58% from the field over his past four games.
Honorable mention: Robin Lopez (Suns)
