1) We have to see what we have in Hill and the way Jennings is playing it should motivate him...

2) Jeffries plays 21 minutes a game...which is 21 too many

Start Jordan Hill? Can't we set more modest goals here? Maybe Jordan Hill should see some consistent minutes and few less DNPs before we thrust him into the starter's role.

Also, it'd be dumb to buy out Jared Jeffries this year. Yes he is overpaid, but he's not making Eddy Curry-money, he's making $6.5M. That's not a ridiculous amount of money for another team to absorb. Who would want Jared Jeffries? Probably no one, but you can't buy him out while there's even a prayer that he could be moved. Hell, Donnie almost bundled him with Nate and sent them both to Sac-Town at the deadline last year. I bet he's regretting not pulling the trigger on that one now, but you never know what twists the NBA season might take.

As an NHL Hockey fan,Jean Ratelle was the true athelete.A man who enjoyed playing and not exploiting his celebrity or bandwagoning with goon hockey of the 60s&70s.Knowing exactly how he fit in the system.Performing so consistantly. He was a gifted skater and playmaker.Backchecked in textbook form.A lost skill.Played the sport the way it was meant to play. Why he didn't take up behind the bench is a total loss to hockey's future stars.Retiring his number is the least the Ranger organization owes to such a loyal and unparalleled player.

What a great season it has been. Brian Cashman put it all together and the players executed. Arod finally came through. Had to happen eventually.

I was going to mention him but did not for two reasons:

1) He is attempting 12 threes a game...which should of been noted
2) Suns are 3-0

Gallo can avg 30 a game and the Knicks will still lose...this team plays no defense

How're we gonna talk about Channing Frye's 19.7 ppg when our very own Gallo's averaging 22.7 through the same three game span? No love for the hometown team?

Hey,

All I can say is as a diehard Yankee fan that is currently watching the 4th game of the World Series at 10 PM EST, I have no choice but to express my wholehearted support of Jimmy Rollins and his comments regarding Citizen's Bank Park as being more "rowdy"(and having more soul) than the new Yankee Stadium.
Anyone who isn't a bank executive or an oil tycoon is gonna have a tough time attending even a regular season game at Yankee Stadium with the new "Inagurual Season" GOUGED THROUGH THE ROOF new stadium prices. It's disgusting. If you've been to the new stadium, you know what I'm talking about. If you haven't been and you just want to argue with me for no apparently sensible reason, buzz off.
The Yankee Brass has insensibly and greedily priced out the average, working class and necessarily rowdy(and most helpful to a championship, thanks Jimmy; Oh and I'm also aware that this is technically a run on sentence) true Yankee fan.
I couldn't tell you how much a Philly playoff ticket in "field level" would cost, but as I'm sure they don't have a "legends" section as does Yankee Stadium(which certainly prices out the pesky commoners) and wouldn't come close to the exorbinant prices which are charged there.
You're not gonna see Esquire J. Executive going nuts in the first few rows of Yankee Stadium in a playoff, or less importantly regular season game of Yankee Stadium. This is mostly due to fear of his job; also don't forget his concern of falsely and unnaturally exceeding his personality restraints.
I watch a Phillies game and I see a packed house full of passionate baseball fanatics which haven't been priced out by greedy owners and interests. Watch a Yankee game, the empty seats(Yes, even in the playoffs it seems) even in the front rows outnumber the baseball fans by an embarassing count. The remaining few who could afford to spend 1k on seats to sit and stare like tranquil thorazine drones or the people texting, forgetting that baseball even exists are a true testament to what Yankee Brass values: little in the way of baseball passion and support from a fan and tons in the way of boatloads of cash.
In large part, those of the current Yankee "fanbase" which inhabit the field level and call themselves "legends" are a lifeless deadzone of inactive molecular waste which you will for the most part not see behaving in such a manner at any other Major League team's games.
If the Phillies have an advantage in this otherwise evenly matched series, it lies in the hands of the fans; those lucky enough not to be required to have blood on their hands in order to get decent tickets for a reasonable price.

I actually have no control over which Islanders logo is used on this Web site, so, no, I wasn't trying to be funny. I just clicked on Islanders, and that's the one that shows up.
